In 2014, JD McPherson released a 4-song EP of cover songs called “Warm Covers”. It was released by Rounder Records digitally and on CD as well. In 2021, JD McPherson recorded and released “Warm Covers II” and it featured 5 more cover songs. This EP was only released digitally. Flash forward to 2023 and New West Records is proud to present a 12-song covers record featuring the 9 previously released tracks as well as 3 exclusive LP tracks. This product will be pressed on Maroon Swirl vinyl and will be limited to 3,000 copies worldwide. The tracklist features songs from Iggy Pop, The Velvet Underground, Nick Lowe, Big Al Downing and many more.
