Francis Rossi - The Way We Were Vol. 2 (CD)

Following the acclaimed 'The Way We Were Vol. 1', Francis Rossi once again opens his personal archive with 'The Way We Were Vol. 2', a collection of 17 previously unreleased demo recordings that offers a fascinating insight into his songwriting partnership with longtime collaborator Bob Young.

As with the first volume, listeners are invited to hear the original recordings of songs that would later appear on Status Quo albums and on Francis Rossi's solo releases. These carefully crafted demos capture the original melodies, lyrics and arrangements, preserving the songs at the very beginning of their journey before they evolved into the finished recordings. Rossi's decision to release these recordings offers a rare glimpse into the creative process that has remained largely private for decades. From driving rockers to more reflective acoustic performances, the collection showcases the breadth of his songwriting and the enduring spirit that has defined his music throughout his career.

For anyone who enjoyed 'The Way We Were Vol. 1', this new collection offers another in-depth look into the songwriting and creative process of one of British rock's most enduring artists.
