Alfred Lion considered pianist-composer Andrew Hill as unique as Thelonious Monk and documented Hill's music with a fervor. Recorded in 1964 with a quartet of modern jazz visionaries - Bobby Hutcherson, Richard Davis, and Elvin Jones-Judgment! was the third classic album Hill recorded in a five-month period that also produced 'Black Fire' and 'Point of Departure'. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180 gr vinyl at Optimal.
